Where a legal basis is required, we rely on legitimate interests in operating a secure editorial website and responding to enquiries, and on legal obligations when these apply. Where an activity requires consent, we will request it before that activity begins. An enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
Our website code does not set cookies, use browser storage, run visitor analytics, embed advertising pixels or offer newsletter sign-ups. There are no commission-bearing links in this edition. Hosting and security services may use technical cookies; private previews may also use account authentication. Their practices are separate from the code we publish. You can manage cookies in your browser, although blocking necessary cookies may affect access.
We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. This website does not make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about visitors.
Service providers and international processing
Pages are hosted through OpenAI Sites with Cloudflare delivery infrastructure. Contact emails are handled through Gmail. These services may process information outside your country, including in the United States; the operator is in Thailand. Their roles, safeguards and retention practices depend on the service and applicable terms. We do not claim that data stays exclusively in Thailand, the EU or the UK.

These provider notices explain their own practices and do not replace this notice. We may disclose information where legally required or where necessary to address abuse or defend a legal claim. We do not publish a correspondent's name or email address with a correction without permission.
How long information is kept
We determine the retention of correspondence by whether the enquiry remains open, whether a correction or dispute needs supporting evidence, and whether a legal obligation requires a record. Information that is no longer needed for those purposes should be deleted or anonymised. There is no automatic email-deletion schedule currently configured. You may request deletion using the contact above. Hosting logs and provider backup copies have separate retention arrangements; we have not established a single site-specific retention period for all providers.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to access, correct or delete your personal information, receive a portable copy, restrict processing, object to processing based on legitimate interests, or withdraw consent where processing relies on it. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal. Rights can be subject to legal exceptions.
Email the contact above and describe your request. We may need proportionate verification to avoid disclosing information to the wrong person. Please do not send an identity document with your initial message. Requests will be handled within the deadlines required by applicable law. You may also complain to the relevant data-protection authority, including Thailand's Personal Data Protection Committee or the authority in your EEA country or the UK where applicable.
Children and sensitive information
This publication is intended for adults making purchasing decisions. We do not knowingly solicit children's personal information. If a child has sent us information, contact us so it can be reviewed and removed where appropriate. Please do not email passwords, payment-card details, identity documents or health information.
External sites and changes
When you follow an external link, the destination's practices apply. We do not handle purchases, retailer accounts or returns. We will update this page before adding analytics, a newsletter or affiliate tracking, and provide any notice or consent mechanism required for the actual change.
